Dorrit Ragosine, Founder

Dorrit F. Ragosine has 25+ years of brand building experience incorporating PR, marketing and business development from key roles at the top entertainment companies to tech start-ups. 

 

Before launching SC-PR, Dorrit Ragosine wrapped a one-year consulting assignment as Chief Marketing Officer and Interim President for the InterStream Association, a nascent industry group focusing on broadband video delivery. Her ownership role included overseeing creation of the association’s marketing materials, including a rebranding of the website, policy/lobbying as related to net neutrality, strategic counsel and business development.  

 

From 2006-2009, Ragosine served as Vice President, Public Relations for 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, where she was the department leader on all consumer and new technology campaigns for the studio’s most profitable division.  She was initially brought in as a consultant in 2005 to develop the MGM home entertainment public relations department when Fox entered into a long-term distribution deal for the MGM movie catalog.

Ragosine was also Executive Director of Publicity for Paramount Home Video, where she led campaigns for such notable releases as Titanic and the 25th anniversary of The Godfather, as well as directed the company’s entry into the DVD market.  

 

She spent eight years at Walt Disney Home Video during the launch of the home entertainment industry, working on such films as Pulp Fiction, Sister Act and The Lion King and the launch of the Miramax Home Entertainment brand.
